Allanmere was established in 1985 as a small winery at Lovedale in the Lower Hunter Valley. Over the years and under the leadership of Greg Silkman the winery has become one of the best in the Hunter Valley.

Zonte's Footstep - Langhorne Creek, South Australia

Zonte's Footstep is named after the original 19th. Century Vineyard and the new plantings follow the original footstep of Zonte's grapes-hence the name. Today's plantings,taken from the descendents of the first cuttings  brought to Australia in 1836.
